Since my daughter turned two my family and friends kept pressuring me to potty train her. Every dang day I was asked “why is she in a diaper?” “I can’t believe she’s 2 and a half and still in a diaper” “You’re just being lazy”

Nope. I didn’t force my daughter. If I tried and she cried a lot or she was scared of the potty, I’d stop and put a diaper on her because she wasn’t ready. Now she’s going to be 3 soon and she was ready! By day 3 she was fully trained day and night. No accidents. My parents tell me I’m so lucky she hasn’t had major accidents.. I tell them no.. it’s because I didn’t force her when she was 2. Of course there are kids totally ready at 2, but it depends on the kid and the parents.

Wait until you both feel ready! You won’t regret it. I’m seriously so glad I ignored the rude comments
