Anyone?

Has anyone had a missed miscarriage and have taken misoprostol and had to get a D&C in the end. I’m so emotionally drained. I went in to an ultrasound on Jan 13 to be told there was no heartbeat and the baby had stopped growing. The doctor instructed me to take misoprostol vaginally and return in one week for a ultrasound to confirm the baby had passed. It had passed but there was still some left over tissue he said would pass on my next period. I don’t get periods regularly so I was told to take provera 2 weeks after. I’ve taken this before and have always gotten a period. Well my period never started only some small spotting so I called and they did another ultrasound and they said I should get a D&C done. Has anyone had a D & C done just for left over tissue?
