Corona Virus postponing / canceling travel anyone?

Question

Is anyone postponing travel or canceling travel plans altogether because of the virus? 
Husband and I have tickets to Rome we purchased during the fall. We are now waiting a few weeks to see what happens but we are going to cancel for the safety of our son. He’ll be 18 months in May so we think it’ll be best not to travel to Italy. 
Is there anyone else worried about the same?

I am currently 18 weeks on vacation in Rome. I would say that if you are in the second trimester just fear the virus like you would fear the flu. Today we went to Florence, so much fun!

I think it’s smart. No need to put yourself at an increased risk. Italy has been getting hit pretty good with that virus recently

I’m 23 weeks and will use my two weeks off for a stay-cation instead of going away...I’m not typically one to panic, but I think I’s have more peace of mind by avoiding air travel for now. This virus strain does bear resemblance to the flu, but because it’s relatively new my only worry is that it’s too soon to know how and if it affects pregnant women and baby in-utero.

The president just said today in a LIVE broadcast that the are putting a Level 4 travel on Italy and Iran. For now I think you made the right decision. I wouldn’t risk it.

The CDC came out with a level 3 travel ban to Italy last night. They recommend no non-essential travel as of right now. I live in Northern Italy and my MIL is supposed to be visiting in a few weeks and she’s changing her tickets to later this year
