Anxious to TTC!
I've been recovering from a miscarriage that began on Feb 16th, but it too an additional 2 days to truly ramp up. I was 8 weeks along, though it was a situation of told sack but no fetus, the sack was only at 6 weeks. It was so unexpected and probably the hardest thing I've faced. I have 2 wonderful children, both pregnancies were text book smooth, in my 20s. Here I am in my 30s. The pregnancy was unexpected, but thrilling.. so, since the loss we have decided we very much want to try for our 3rd and last child.
My question, is.. Is there any risk to trying right after my first real cycle.
My body is showing all the signs of falling right back into line, not sure for sure but I believe I've ovulated as if nothing happened.. My cycle always returned after giving birth right to the day without skipping a beat. We started making some major health and diet changes when we found out we were pregnant, and have been consistently doing "all the right things" now for about a month. I've added in steps for egg and sperm quality since the mc. I am going to be having my thyroid tested as well, mostly due to family history. I guess my main concern would be, is the uterus lining able to heal within 1 cycle? I've read many thoughts and studies on the subject, and many stories of healthy pregnancies conceived even before a real period. It's become very much believed there can be greater success in the first 3 months post miscarriage.
I am very interested in anyone else's thoughts on this that has had experience with this or good true knowledge about it. I am so anxious to start... It was so tempting to just let it happen if it happens the past couple weeks, but I was too afraid another loss would then be my fault. I've never realized how long a few weeks can feel when waiting for that fertile window... It comes and goes through out our whole lives without much thought, then suddenly it is the date you waiting for with so much anticipation.
Sorry so long. Thanks to anyone who took the time to read or respond!
