Hi, 
My partner and I are spending  weekend away together - country side! 
His close friends father passed away suddenly and wants to go home support him , while I have to stay here alone for another night. 
I understand his friend was there for my partner in bad times, but I can’t help feeling like I’m no priority in his life - am I been unreasonable!

No I wouldn’t be upset, and yes you’re being unreasonable. It’s natural to want to spend more time with your S/O, but you need to understand the situation. If one of my parents passed, I would really need the support of my close friends. On the same token, if one of my friends’ parents passed, I would 100% go home to be there for them.
