My boyfriend and I went bar hopping and he was upset I didn’t want to leave the bar to walk down the Vegas strip. I told him I wanted to chill at the bar we were at and that if he really wanted to walk he could go alone. Big mistake. He ended up getting rowdy and saying I was a bitch for being okay with him being alone. I got up a left the bar before we got kicked out for him being loud. As we walk outside he punches me on my face and head a few times IN PUBLIC. Some guy came and was like YOU NEVER HIT A FEMALE WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU. All of a sudden my boyfriend hugs me and kisses me on the cheek and says this is my girl, my love. The guy didn’t buy it and ended up punching my boyfriend and they start fighting. Then the other guy has a friend who jumps in but then stops. Once they stop fighting the guy tells me.. you’re welcome and you need to break up with him. I’m crying and my boyfriend starts saying he can’t believe I didn’t defend him. As we are walking away to our car two police cars roll up on us a tell us to put our hands behind our back. They separate us and the cops ask me what happened. I say nothing happened. I did not want him to get arrested or in trouble. The cops then say they have witnesses saying my boyfriend hit me. And question me why my face is swollen. I continue to say nothing happened. My boyfriend was taken in on a Felony Domestic Violence. He was arrested Saturday night and now he’s at the detention center until his court date on Tuesday. His bail is set at $50,000. He has a clean record. I don’t know what the outcome is going to be. If his felony will drop to misdemeanor. Or if we will have a no contact order. I told cops I wanted nothing to do with the case and I kept repeating he did nothing to me. I love him and I know people are probably rolling their eyes. I just felt the need to say this to someone. I can’t tell family or friends about what went on. I hope things get better.
