I dont want your advice Margaret

Guys I dont mean to sound rude but I know that some people will think I am. Anyway. Does anyone else hate it when people give you unsolicited advice? I know a lot of people mean good but they would've felt exactly the same in the past so why you doing it to me?

Janet: "Oh do you know the only way to make a breastfed baby sleep through the night is by letting him cry it out" me: 'actually I gave him avocado before bed the other night and he slept from 12-7 for the first time'...

Laura: "my best friends 2nd cousins sister in law co slept and the baby never slept in its own bed until 6 years old and the baby even fell out of their bed on many occasions due to less space"

Me: 'oh well we co sleep, it's what works for us, we have a super king bed and a bed guard on my babies side and practice safe co sleeping, I'm sure hes fine plus I dont mind when he doesnt wanna sleep in his own bed he can sleep in mine until he is ready'

*queue the disapproving looks* ....

Me: 'my goal is to reach 6 months breastfeeding and after that hopefully he can start getting used to a bottle'

Susan: "are YOU serious? Breastfeed him until you no longer have milk that's what it's for, you should be in this for your baby not yourself"....

Margaret: "I know you say you want to breastfeed but how do you know hes getting enough? What if he isnt and gets seriously ill? That child will never be independent. You cant go out because it's bad to breastfeed him in public what if you cant find a private place?? Plus people find it a bit strange seeing a child attached to your breast" (Yes someone actually said this to me no lie.)

Me: 'you know what Margaret I dont want your advice on how to raise my baby, hes happy and healthy and that's how I know I'm doing everything that's right for me and him."

ROUND OF APPLAUSE IF U GOT TO THE END SORRY ITS SO LONG BUT THESE PEOPLE JUST ANNOY MEEEE
