Mucus plug?

How do I tell the difference between discharge and the mucus plug?
I haven't had any discharge during pregnancy, but the last two days when I wipe there is a clear jelly (sorry for the TMI) this is my first pregnancy so im clueless!!

The mucus plug will be really really thick, and slightly green tinged or blood tinged, if it comes out at once it's like a disgusting slug 🤣🤣 what you're having sounds like normal pregnancy discharge to me

My mucus plug was far from clear. And it was huge.

Clear jelly sounds like your plug.  Discharge would be runny.  You may lose parts along, as it will grow back.  I noticed some of mine several weeks before actual labor.
