Copper Iud.?

Question

Does anyone have a copper iud.? How long.? Good experience or bad.? I got mine recently and have been having long periods and bad cramps but nothing to bad.! If I had to rate it I'd give it a 8/10. What are your thoughts.?

I have the copper iud, nearly 4 years. Love it, my cramps aren't keeping me in bed due to being so painful like before, I don't get nauseous or migraines either. everyone's bodies react different though, you just have to find which is right for you

So far i think it is great , you dont have to worry about anything 😉however as i went on to it after having switched from the contraceptive  impant the periods have come back with a revenge 🙁

Actually I have the Mirena and umm... I've been sometimes off on my period but this time I've been feeling really weird, first I haven't even started my period and I've been really tired and I had to get a birth control and get the thought out of my head that I might be pregnant and well I'm pregnant I don't understand why! Cuz I know with Mirena it's a great birth control theirs really no way to get pregnant

Same thing for me too. Every period has gotten lighter and shorter. And the cramping has become less frequent. Got mine in August '15

I also have an iud and yes it's completely normal! It happened the same exact thing to me it usually calms itself on the heavy period and cramps after 6 months when your body is used to it!
