Coil? IUD? Or IUS?

Question

So I’m booked in tomorrow to get the coil fitted at the drs,
Has anyone had one fitted and can tell me there experiences please?

Had the mirena before but I didnt go back to check the fitting, so it didnt help to thin my heavy periods and I got thrush from it ,probably due to the wrong fitting .
I will be getting it again once baby is born through..but I will go back to ensure  its fitted properly....

I've had the mirena put and then removed to conceive, (had no issues and best birth control I've used yet)
It's the same sort of feeling has having a cervical swab with a bit of cramping that lasts a few seconds. And then that night had period cramps but no more severe than usual. I wouldn't worry about it at all it's really quick and easy!
I took ibuprofen an hour before as they recommended so don't know if that helped at all
