Whooping cough vacine
Hi everyone I'm based in the UK and my midwife is encouraging me to have the whooping cough vaccine as babies are not covered for their first 8 weeks of life.
She advised me that if I go ahead I need it before 16 weeks and that it is statutory that even midwifes are having the vaccine to help avoid it being passed on.
I'm really unsure of this. I'm high risk as it is and fear it may harm my baby.
Any experiences or suggestions welcome.
