Covid 19 outbreak and baby shower?

So I am 36 weeks pregnant and live very close to ground zero of the Covid 19 outbreak in the US. All the grandparents want me to cancel my baby shower which is next Saturday but my MOH has spent a lot of time and money on this event. There seems to be an even amount of people that are legit worried that the outbreak is a serious threat and people who think the mass hysteria and panic over the virus is ridiculous. The CDC has a new report that pregnant women might be higher risk. What should I do about my baby shower?

Idk my husband works for the government and he said the media is hyping it up. Idk i would just weigh the risks and whatever you are comfortable with. My family is making choices to not fly which I get.

People need to treat corona virus just like the flu 
It’s an infection not a disease!! 
Wash your hands before eating,
If you sick stay at home, 
Cover your mouth if you need to cough or sneeze, then wash your hands! 
Don’t go licking door handles or kissing people who are sick!! 
Use common sense and good hygiene you will all be fine!!!

I would have the shower for the people who want to come and for the people who doesn’t, have them send gift to your house/drop off.

I’d have the shower. Ask people if they are sick or worried to not come. I wouldn’t hug or shake hands with too many people, and just keep yourself clean and sanitized. Don’t touch your face. You should be fine.

Tell people if they are sick not to come for their sake and yours. But I expect people to do that whether there's an outbreak of not. It's common courtesy to not attend a party when youre sickly.  For those who don't want to come. Don't come. It's not like your having the party in the quarantine ward at the hospital lol
