What would you do? (Read description!)

My boyfriend asked me to move in with him. I'm so excited and I love him so much. I can't wait to start this next chapter in our relationship. But there's a kink in this plan. I had applied for a job at Walmart and I got hired. I'm supposed to have orientation next week. In order to move in with him, I'll have to call in and tell them never mind on this job because my SO lives an hour and a half away. Which is no big deal to me. I'd be respectful and give them plenty of heads up before orientation day. A friend of mine thinks I should take this walmart job and wait it out. The thing is, Walmart isn't the dream job for me lol. My SO lives in the city and there are many job opportunities, especially in my dream job area (working with animals). So if I have the opportunity to do that as opposed to Walmart, you bet I'm gonna jump on it. What is your personal advice?

Do you have the savings to support the move without a job? If so, take the leap! If you need to save up before making the move, then you should take the job. Another option would be to stay and work at Walmart until you find another job near where your boyfriend lives so you won’t have a long stretch without working.

If you can financially support yourself with the move until you find a job,take the move. But make sure you both talk about everything before you move in. 
Walmart isn't the dream job for most people, but it's a job. And if you need it to be financially stable 🤷

I’d discuss this with your boyfriend. If he has the means to support you until you find a job or if you have money saved then it may be fine to not accept the job. I will say it could be added stress to your relationship though if he wasn’t expecting to take that financial matter on.

I’d move and find another job closer to where you move to. There might even be a Walmart there too. Start applying before you move though so finances aren’t a stressor.

If it was a nice job i would say take the job. But its walmart🙄Like walmart is everywhere and retail alaways hires new emplyees.
