How many colds so far? Wondering how much daycare impacts babes gettin sick

My son goes to daycare 3x/week and is on his 4th cold. 1 of those being RSV 🙁

Just curious after seeing this poll—there’s so many people who don’t have their little one in daycare... how do you manage this? 
My husband and I both have decent careers (bachelors and masters degrees), no debt, we’ve made wise choices with our home and vehicle purchases... and yet we still need 2 incomes (tho I now work 32ish hours vs 40 before baby). We buy our groceries at Walmart... we really never buy clothes or other items until we absolutely have to... we only eat out twice a week maybe. There’s nothing else we could possibly cut back on unless we chose to live in a shack. 
Our closest family lives 90 mins away and they actually drive all that way to watch him 1x/week. But even if they lived 5 mins away, I doubt they’d be wiling to watch him full time. Both sets of grand parents still work... are yours already retired and able to watch their grand kids every day you work?
If you do live on one income, who the heck are you married to? Lol

My oldest is about to be 3 and has had 3 colds her whole life. And those came after my husband or I had gotten sick from work. My youngest is 6 months and has not had a single cold yet *knock on wood*

No day care and only one set of sniffles from older sister being in school. We are a 2 income family as well but luckily my parents are able to watch my kids. I only work 24 hours a week while my fiancé is doing 40 plus a week

Gym daycare (only an hour or so a few times a week) and he had so many colds. 1 RSV. Chronic ear infections. Finally on the mend and keeping him out of daycare for now.

We are VERY fortunate that my mom watches our daughter during the day. My 3yo son is in daycare though, so he brings home ALL the germs.
