Holy spirit is our guide
John 16:12-15
1I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
*We know scripturally that the Holy spirit like God has many attributes to it. But right now I'm just focusing on our comforter as "a guide". So here in these scriptures Jesus is preparing to be crucified. He's telling His disciples what to expect once He goes to be with the Father. So the comforter that Jesus speaks of we know is the Holy Spirit. Jesus says to the disciple in verse 12 that He has much to say to them but they wouldnt be able to bear it at that moment. How ever the Holy spirit will reveal certain truths to them later. I can't help but to think about us today. It's much that we desire to know about God and His word( the bible), but only God know what we each individually are able to bear. Which is why it is important that we stay in the spirit often. Because the more we pray in the Spirit the more we hear what God is saying to us. We're able to move forward that way. Because the Holy spirit will speak to us only what the Father tells the Holy spirit to speak. Thank you Father for the Holy Ghost and Jesus Christ. We can not be led astray when we pray to the Father in the Holy Ghost asking for answers in Jesus name. Because the Father will reveal it to Jesus who will tell it to the Holy spirit which will speak to us as long as we are available to listen.
