I just got insurance and My insurance doesnt begin until april 1st, so i’ve been paying $300+ every visit ive been going to the ob. I went at 5 weeks, at 6 weeks, again at 7 and they scheduled me again for tomorrow at 9 weeks and another for march 24th at 11 weeks. Im 25, im healthy, all my blood work is great. I asked the receptionist if i could just set my appointment for april 1st so that i wouldnt have to pay another visit and she acted as if i was horrible ! She was like well we recommend our women coming in every 2 weeks, and i explained to her that my insurance wouldnt be effective until april 1st and she didnt care. Am i horrible for wanting to just wait the extra 2 and a half weeks ? Is it completely necessary i go in every 2 weeks?
