*PLEASE READ* Would you go back to work?

Question

I've been very lucky to be a SAHM for my toddler and infant. 
A private preschool we've been on the wait list for literal years (since I was pregnant with the first child) has an opening for both in the fall and they'll be 3 and 1 years old.
My husband's income pays for all of our bills, mortgage, "play" money, etc. 
If I go back to work full time, after paying for their school, it'll add $2,000-3,000 a month to our available cash for savings, vacations, college funds, retirement etc. 
Would you go back to work for the extra income?

I wouldn’t because I like staying home and extra money is not a big motivator for me.  But if you want to go back to work, then now is a great time to do it.

I’m blessed that I could stay home and our lives would not financially change. We have three children 6 and under and I still work because I love my job and co-workers. Working gives me a great sense of purpose outside of the home. Now I would only go back to work if I truly enjoyed my job. I work Monday-Thursday at 30 hours per week.

I’m a stay at home mom too currently pregnant and my hubby is the bread winner .. I’m blessed enough to be able to stay home. I could go back to work after I have my next babe but I will stay and raise him like I did with my daughter until he’s ready for school .

Is it a job you genuinely enjoy? Then sure why the heck not have some fun and get paid for it. If you’d hate most of your time there then it wouldn’t be worth it.

It’s completely up to you. Do what makes you feel comfortable. If your husband is ok with you staying home still, I say go for it! But if you want more income and adult time, choose that. It’s all up to you. I love being a stay at home mommy. 😊

No, that is not a lot of money.  Although, I suppose it's all relative. To me, it's not of money and would not be worth it at all. But you also have to look at whether it's a job you are passionate about. Because that alone, is worth more than just money.  I think you're the only one who can come up with these answers.
