Crying baby

Hey moms, I’m a ftm if a 5 month old. I’m pretty sure she’s teething as she’s rubbing her gums like crazy. So I put oragel on her, cold pacifiers, fed her, gave her Tylenol. She just wouldn’t stop crying I did everything I could. I had to put her in her crib took her an hour and half to go to sleep. After an hour I put her on her stomach and she finally stopped crying and fell asleep. Did I let her cry too long? I laid her down twice before that and got her tried soothing her and nothing was working. Is this normal for her to do this ?
