For multiple reasons I have decided to not breastfeed when my son is born in 5 weeks. My daughter and I are receiving help from WIC currently and after trying to breastfeed my daughter we ended up exclusively formula feeding by 3 months. I have an appointment with WIC next week and I am trying to figure out how to ask if I can receive formula right away once he's born or if they're going to make me wait and "try" to breastfeed again first. I don't want to seem selfish or entitled but I don't want to try again, I don't want lactation specialists, I don't want them to make me feel bad about my decision, I just want to know if I should start to buy a can a week so I have some or if they will give me formula when he's born.
