I’m freaking out because things are becoming hard to get. I can’t even get toilet paper when I need it or formula for my baby. I luckily got a few cans but she goes through them quick.

No but it's stupid how people are doomsday prepping.  You dont need a whole cart full of the costco size TP.  We are a family of 4 (2 adults and a 3 yr old, plus June baby) with 2 extra adults here all week (grandparents babysjt) and can go more than a month with one of those things. And even in Italy where its locked down tight I believe you can get to grocery (I might be wrong but that is the way I understood it) so you shouldnt be buying out formula.  The way i took it is you only need enough to get through ABOUT 2 weeks time....in case you get put on quarantine

Panic begets panic. I saw these shelves and panicked! 😫 I’m tired of being anxious, just isolate me already so I can stop worrying if I have enough.

I’m honestly at the point where I have no choice but to stock up on essentials, especially essentials for my young child and baby. There’s just barely anything on the shelves anymore unless your there first thing in the morning. It’s unfair and people are greedy. No nappies, wipes, toilet paper, medicines, disinfectant etc. only today the big shops decided to limit items like this to 1 per person and even then it’s gonna be a mad dash to grab what we need. I feel for the vulnerable, the poor and the elderly because it is crazy.

I’m not worried about myself or my immediate family...but I’m worried about my mom who just finished chemo a few weeks ago and my grandparents who are in their 90’s.

I’m changing my answer from whatever to yes. First case confirmed in our city but recent developments have me concerned (NBA season cancelled, Our Prime Minister is in self isolation, U.S. banning travel from Europe)

Nope. Really annoyed that I couldn't buy pasta or eggs a few days ago though. Hoping my hand soap lasts long enough because I put my hands in shit-water every day (cloth nappies)... I actually NEED soap and sanitizer people!!

The only item I'm stocked up on is formula but I do that every month. I receive WIC for my daughter and it is easier if I just grab all of the formula at the beginning of the month, and then buy baby food weekly when I need to.
