20 week scan, bleed on the placenta?
Had our 20 week scan today and very happy that all the organ checks were fine however there is a small bleed on the placenta and a brightness in the baby’s bowel and lungs, possibly due to swallowing blood.
I was upset as this sounds serious but the midwife said not to worry and I’ve been referred to a consultant. Anyone experienced this before?
