My job hasn't talked about the coronavirus at all or spoken about it to its employees. I work in a restaurant which is in a way high risk because we get very busy especially lunch time. You would think with the outbreak more people would be staying home, but no it's almost like we're getting busier.

They havent offered any kind of reassurance to us. My coworker was sent home yesterday for being sick (she was throwing up so I dont think its coronavirus) but still we come in contact with so many people everyday working in that environment, having to clean up after other people etc.

We do wash our hands regularly but I just feel upset our job hasn't spoken to us about it or what precautions we should be taking. I live in a small town so if we get a case, it's likely it will spread very quickly.
