My baby is 9 weeks old but has an adjusted she of 5 weeks. This has happened four times since she’s been born, so not frequently... she will be sleeping in our arms and all of a sudden she’ll let out one single cough, then all of a sudden her entire face will turn bright red and she will look like she is struggling and gasping to get air but can’t, she will also arch her back and look panicked. I always sit her up right away and gently rub her back and if it got worse I would call 911 right away but within 2-3 minutes she will recover. All that ever comes out is clear spit / bubbles from her mouth and then she is fine afterwards. We didn’t experience this with our first born. I plan to ask the dr but it doesn’t happen frequently so I’m not sure what they can do. I’m going to try to get a video to show them if it happens again. Has anyone experienced this?
