Which Dress?

I'm trying to decide which of these gowns I should buy for my grade 12 graduation... What do you think?☺️ dress1 or dress2

I think these are both a bit too formal and if you have on your cap and gown you won't even be able to see the dress and it has to be something that isn't poofy like these so the gown will go over the dress.

Think simpler cause it will be covered by the graduation gown anyways

I feel like those are a little too formal. I've always been told to go with something dressy casual, something you'd wear for church. Mine will be in May, so something summery/springy would be appropriate. Also, remember that your gown has to go over whatever else you're wearing, so a long dress would probably look a little odd.

The first one is a prom dress.. The second seems like a night out on the town kind of dress... My best advice is try searching for a beautiful cocktail dress and some pretty heels or any shoe you are more comfortable in

I don't know how your school does things so I'm gonna vote on number one, but at my school most of the girls just wore a knee length dress and a nice pair of shoes. It's not really going to be seen because of your marching gown but at the reception it will be

My grad is slightly different. We walk up on stage without our grad gowns and only change into them at the end. I was planning to wear something different under for then. Everyone is saying they are too fancy for grad lol😂 the thing is I'm known for being kind of over the top with my style and I like it that way! It's hard to tell but dress 1 is actually light purple. I've been over the top at all my end of year ceremonies in the past and I don't want my actually grad to be any different!
