What are you planning to get our almost 3 year olds for their birthdays ?

Thinking maybe a tricycle(not sure if he’s still too young) or a battery operated car?

Ugh man I really try to be minimalist but I want to get her everything now that she's really getting into pretend play. Right now I think she'd enjoy more equipment for her play kitchen or maybe more play food. I'm also toying with the idea of skipping the play cooking and getting her a learning tower that folds down to a little table like this from Etsy

She also likes playing with trains and cars, so maybe some kind of race track or train set... 
We got her a battery operated car for Christmas and it is HUGE and honestly she's kind of scared of it, but I think by this summer she'll be a better size for it and hopefully won't find it so scary. 
The post the other day about the balance bike made me want one of those too. 
My daughter also likes big floor puzzles so maybe a couple of those. 
Tbh I don't see a point waiting for the birthday though, might just get stuff now if we can afford to 😅 we got my daughter an indoor jungle gym thing last spring too "for her birthday" so maybe that's our tradition haha

I’m planning on a couple board games I think she is ready for! Maybe kinetic sand, she loves doing it with her older cousins. Puzzles-new painting things.

I’m bummed because I’ve been wanting to get him this since Christmas time but now I can’t find it anywhere. He loves learning about the continents and states inside the US. I’m hoping it can find this when his birthday comes around. We have a regular globe that we show him the continents on but this thing would blow his mind!
