Husbands father is a jackass

My husband's "father" (that my husband has maybe seen 10 times his entire life) is always talking shit on Facebook, he has these sarcastic, yet rude comments for everything. My car had a transmission leak and the window fell off the track, and my husband fixed it so I made a post saying that I can always count on him and thanking him. His dad comments that my car wasn't such a deal, and that my husband probably broke it again ( he never even broke it once, to be able to break it again). I told him what was wrong with it, and he says that he heard my husband broke the window. For one, if my husband had broke the window, that is not his business to spread all over Facebook, and for two, he was making my husband look like a jack ass. I told him that joking or not, I didn't appreciate his comments, so he got all pissy and deleted them all, and now he's all mad at me. Oh well I guess, he's never had anything pleasant to say, maybe he'll think a little harder next time he wants to make some stupid comment.
