My son is pooping and peeing in the potty! I let him go naked all day and only put pull ups during nap time and bedtime, when is a good time to start putting undies on him during the day instead of him going naked ??

Naked did the trick, he tells me whenever he has to go pee or poop and he he has a potty chart and puts a sticker on it whenever he goes pee or poop. I wanna try undies during the day, but last time I tried undies during nap time he ended up peeing in them, so I’m afraid he’ll do that during the day. Opinions ???

Man i give you mommas props. Im still trying to potty train but i have not been consistent with him. I am trying but now we have a one week old with us so its become even harder. I failed my lil one :(

 My son had been potty trained for almost 3 months and we have yet to do undies during bedtime (he doesnt nap). Consistent dry pull ups would be the sign that undies are ok at night or nap or if they are dry and able to wake up to go potty. We do undies all day and at night do pull ups.

My son has been potty trained for a while but he wore a pull up to bed every night for the first couple months or so. When he was consistently waking up dry we decided to put him in underwear and he hasn’t had an accident.

I was really nervous to make the leap from naked to undies when we potty trained my daughter, but we literally just did it one day and she was fine. She's been potty trained for a year and still has occasional accidents (like she'll do a little tinkle in her undies before we make it to the potty) especially when she gets distracted or is into a tv show or something she's playing. I say just dive right in!

For my boy we did commando for like a month lol he does well now but still occasional accidents. Still on diaper for nap and bedtime

We are 3 months into potty training and my daughter still has accidents at nighttime. So she still wears a pull-up for bed. I wanna say she ran around naked for the whole first month though. Then we started doing panties during the day. She still sometimes has little accidents because she can’t get them pulled down quick enough. She will usually go through 2-5 pairs of underwear a day.
