When to start on nursery?

So I know it’s still a little early since I’m about to be 15 weeks but I already kind of want to start. I mean, I have some flooring to fix and painting to do first. I’m also taking into consideration that I might have to do most of the work since my fiancé works 12hr a day he likes to sleep a bit more when he’s off. I have no issue with it. I love fixing stuff. Heck I even did our kitchen last year 😂 
When will you start working on your nursery?

We were going to start at 20 weeks when we found out gender but we’re having an unplanned move so we have to wait

I came to ask this question but saw this post. I'm 14 weeks today and I set up the changing table to have a place to start putting things as we get them, but that made me want to do it all. I've ordered a lot 🙈 and dont know how soon to start putting it all up. I have other kids so I feel like for me if I do it too early they will mess with it.

Same girl!! I shared my registry already with close loved ones to help me feel more prepared as I went into labor early with my first I feel better even just having stuff I need here !

Same. I’m 15 1/2 and my mom is telling me to pick out a nursery bedroom set and wants to get going. “Did you pick a theme yet for that little guy?” Lol no mom, still pondering.

I’ve been wondering that too. My husband is using the “nursery” as his office since he permanently works from home and we have one of our rabbits in there. We have to move all that downstairs in the living room and clean some things in the living room. It’s a lot of work but with the virus everything is closed so getting rid of the furniture is hard right now 😕 I also want to go to stores and pick stuff out rather than order stuff like that online.

My sewing room is becoming the nursery and our spare is becoming my sewing room and both need painted so while I’m out for 2 weeks (teacher) I plan on getting that completed. I’m 15 weeks today but as far as intense nursery prep probably not until summer. I should note I’m sewing most of the stuff in my nursery besides the sheets because they are the devil, so I have to start before too long on that.

I want to start planning and buying, but I won’t because I’m scared it’s too early! I had two miscarriages prior to this pregnancy even though none of them were this late in pregnancy (I’m currently in my second trimester @ 15 weeks). 
I did break down and purchase a onesie while I was on vacation in Australia a month ago because I knew I could never get it again and my husband and I purchased shirts for all of our kids. Other than that onesie I purchased 1 outfit (couldn’t resist), but I have cut myself off since. 
I will be more comfortable with buying when I’m over 20 weeks and have had a positive anatomy scan. (Genetics test came back great). In the meantime I am saving money and have like 3k ready to go when I’m finally ready to buy! ☺️. If all goes well the baby shower is also already scheduled for July 5th at 30 weeks. 
Anyone out there feeling like me?!
