2 month shots during pandemic?

So my little mans shots are due and we have an appt on Monday... first off we haven’t left the house in a week and being out at a pediatricians office scares me! On top of that, the idea of him being miserable after all those shots? I am seriously full of anxiety! Are you guys still doing your shots on time during all this going on?

We went Monday. I was very scared. I called our doctor and got them to agree to let us wait in the car until they had a room ready for us, which they happily obliged. Ultimately, I’m glad we went—it was good to get his first round of vaccines in and also nice to talk in-person with the doctor about what she’s seeing in terms of covid in kids and infants as well as come with a plan for our baby and ourselves if various things were to happen down the line (ie, he has a cold, or needs a weight check, or one of us get sick, etc). 
All this to say: Maybe calling to talk to your doctor or nurse ahead of time will help ease your anxiety about the process? Good luck and sending love.

We had our little girl get her shots on Tuesday as planned! Our peds office was actually so bare and we had no issues coming in to close contact with anyone. It was fine and I’m glad we got it over with! We’ve been home nonstop too

I got my sons two month shots yesterday!! Was super scarred but everything went well, he didn’t even get a fever thank god! It’s worth going!

My little guy had it done today. My clinic offers the option to either go to a secluded waiting area or call when you arrive for check in and have a nurse walk out to your vehicle to bring you in. We don’t have many cases of coronavirus where I live. He did pretty good though and is content now.

Mine got his shots right before this blew up like crazy.
He wasn’t too miserable. He mostly slept for the rest of the day, night, and a good chunk of the next day.
I think the worst that happened was what I like to call “poop soup” diapers

We go on Monday.  Our pediatrician rearranged all appointments so only well visits are between certain hours and sick appts are a different time so they don’t overlap.  They are even doing the young babies at similar times and older children separately and I believe only those who need vaccines pushing others until they can accommodate.

We got our twins shots last week, both were perfectly fine 🤷🏽‍♀️ but our first born also had no reaction to shots so I think obviously it just depends on how your baby will respond

My little got hers last Thursday. I was pretty stressed but just literally used hand sanitizer or washed my hands after I touched every single thing! lol
I agree with what someone else said that it helped to be able to talk to my pede about everything. Plus I’m glad they are over and done with now before things get really crazy. I’m in PA, and our confirmed cases are on a real upswing now. I’m sure things are going to get worse before they get better. 
My LO was very sleepy and a bit fussier that afternoon/evening. I did give her one dose of acetaminophen when she woke up screaming from an afternoon nap. But she never had a fever. 
It’s ultimately your call, momma! But I’m sure if you take all the proper precautions, all will be fine.
