What could it be ??? See

So my partner has been complaining of a weird hungry pain but further up, at the bottom of his sternum. Today o got home from work and there is a huge internal lump covering his rib cage would have to be a good 10-15 cm wide like the size of a base ball, it's visible too he hasn't hit it or anything like that. I have booked an appointment for Monday that was as quick as we could get in but he said if it hurts too much he will go to the hospital

You can't really see it too much in the pic but it definitely there and visible
