How to tell???

How do you know if you’re leaking amniotic fluid or if it’s just discharge? I feel like i have tons of discharge so i get paranoid its amniotic fluid

Amniotic fluid will be a consistent leak. If you put on a pad or panty liner and soak it then its probably fluid. But its completely clear and will seem like water

I leaked my water with my last two babies and both times I could smell something different and knew something was off. Almost like a cleaner smell very hard to describe but it definitely doesn’t smell like urine or a vagina! 😝

Amniotic fluid is not the same consistency as discharge. It’s very much a liquid.  Extra discharge is normal during pregnancy. If you are concerned contact your OB
