I realize this post may be a bit controversial and I know there are a lot of feelings and difference of opinion, but I am really struggling right now with this.

Had my 13 week ultrasound last week. Pics from the ultrasound looked fine, NT was measuring at 2.29 which is under the 3.0 range. Got my blood results back however and I screened positive for 21 (Down syndrome) my genetics counsellor said that regular numbers are 1:150, and mine came back as 1:21.... that seems really high to me. Not only that but my PAPP A hormone is low... She discussed next steps with me and asked if I want to continue testing. I have a amnisticiosis )sorry that is probably misspelled, scheduled for April 6th. Has anyone had a similar experience and the outcome been negative? Or is it more probable that the baby has Down syndrome? I am completely a wreck, I can’t say that I will continue the pregnancy depending on the diagnosis, and that makes me feel like an absolute monster. I am not trying to look for people to tell me I am not, I am just wondering if anyone has had a similar procedure or experience.
