Postpartum Hemorrhaging

Has anyone who has had more than one baby end up hemorrhaging with their other pregnancies? I did with my first and was given a shot with my second to help limit the chance of it happening again. But with my current pregnancy and new doctor, she said they won't give me anything to prevent it unless I show that I need it... well that's kinda freaking me out especially because I had a history of hemorrhaging. If you hemorrhaged with your other pregnancies, did they end up giving you something before you delivered or did they wait to see if you bled too much? I'm getting worried and plan on talking to my doctor about it again at the next appointment.
