Should I get paid extra wages for this

So I work as night staff in a care home there are usually 5 Carers at night 3 on the floor and we have 2 1-1 Carers for 2 people that need 24hr supervision. Yesterday I arrived in work and I was the only member of staff to turn up no one even called in sick so we could cover it they just didn’t turn up. I had to put 42 people in bed myself bare in mind most are doubles and require hoists or stand-aids we also have residents that are 30 stone+ that normally require all 3 Carers sometimes the 1-1s have to help in this aswell. And I had to constantly run up and down the building every 10 minutes to check on the 1-1s make people food and drink for there supper and drinks throughout the night do all the cleaning and laundry then wash and dress them and get them out of bed in the morning. I didn’t have a break all night I didn’t have any food or drink or get I sit down once. Also the nurse on shift refused to help me because she said it’s her job to give medication and that’s it. I’m on minimum wage and I believe I should recieve all the 4 wages of the people that didnt turn in as I literally had to do everything. I was in so much pain at the end of the shift I thought I could actaully die. My manager is refusing to pay me the extra money but I feel I’m entitled to it. What do you guys think?
