Should men have an equal say in naming a baby as the woman?

I wouldn’t name my kid something my husband didn’t like because I’m not a can of ass.

I strongly believe my husband should get a say in this so I chose 50/50..... however we're currently 29 weeks pregnant and if he says Aristotle again I need to change my answer 🤦🏼‍♀️😬😂

Personally I think it should be equal but only if he's being active in all of the pregnancy. Example: my sister was dating this guy. At first things were good and then they weren't.  Now he's upset because he had no say in what she plans to name him. He hasn't been to any doctor's appointments and wouldn't even let her stay with him when she was put out on the streets because of a disagreement with her roommate (they were still together at this time but she has since broken it off).  She had some problems a month or 2 ago and didn't answer her calls or texts nor did he come to the hospital to check on his son. At first she was taking his names into consideration even though all of them were really bad. Like Ambruce and Huey and Aleem. She chose Giovanni. He hates it.

My husband had his heart set on the first name which I didnt hate. Would I have picked it from a list? No. But it's an old name and matures well so we decided to use it. I had the challenge of finding a middle name to go with it that had to start with an A for tradition. I gave him a list of ones I liked and we settled on one he liked too. I think both should like the name. Now I have already picked out another girl name for future use. And my husband just so happens to love it lol

I’d say it’s like 51/49 lol. I had the final say, but of course I respected my husband’s opinions and wouldn’t have picked a name we couldn’t agree on. I picked the final name out of the names we agreed on and he was cool with it.
