I am going to be a first year at university next year and I’ve heard that it’s a great experience to live on campus for your first year. This is because you can get to classes easier and meet new people :)

However, there are downsides such as the cost $ and the potential feeling of being confined on campus?

I’m still deciding…I would like to hear your thoughts! Are you also going to be a first year next year and are planning to live on campus? Or have you stayed on/off campus during your years in uni or college?

(Note: I do acknowledge that the Covid-19 virus is a serious issue and is escalating quickly. There may be the possibility that universities will not be able to start at the regular times and thus there will be no housing in general. However, the uni I am planning on attending is still receiving applications for housing and housing decisions will be made on a later date.)
