1st obgyn appointment-1st baby WTE ?????

I took a chance today while working from home and set up our 1st obgyn appointment for 4/27. Fingers crossed this pandemic will calm down. Does anyone know what to except at your 1st appointment? This is our 1st

I had my first today (5w3d) and I had a urine test, a lot of blood test and pelvic exam as well as she sat down with me and went over what the next few months will look like

With my doctor the first appointment was basically just a urine test and she sat down and talked to us, gave us info and answered questions! She also ordered the first ultrasound.  But I’m sure every doctor is different! I wouldn’t think they would do an internal exam unless you’re due for an annual pap anyways

My practice is still doing 1st appts- mine is Monday. I will be 9 weeks. Ours is mainly talking about what to expect during pregnancy, tests that will be done throughout, a pelvic exam, and a short ultrasound to check heart rate.

1st appt is usually confirmation of pregnancy and paperwork...next is usually ultrasound..I went in..peed in a cup... got her email to scan all of my signed documents and send to her
..and did the rest of my appointment over the phone...my husband didn't want me coming back to the hospital lol so my ultrasound is my next appointment which is April 28th
