Let's break down the math so you understand. 
300 mg in how many mL . You know that 200 mg/2 mL, if you divide the 200mg by the 2 mL you get 100mg/ 1 mL. You need 300 mg in the dosage so you take that 100mL and multiply by 3. Aka 3 mL in 300 mg. 
Another way to look at it is to find the value of x. 300 mg/x=200mg/2mL. Moving the x to the other side of the equation, 300mg= x(200mg/2mL). Now move everything in the parentheses to the other side of the equation. Remember to flip the top and bottom to get 300mg(2 mL/200mg)=x. Rearrange the equation to make it easier to look at. (300mg/200mg)2mL=x. Reduce to an answer. 1.5×2mL=x therefore x=3.
Same idea for the next part. Each dose is 8 hours. There are 24 hours in a day so 24hrs/8hrs=3 from the previous problem we know that a dose is 3 mL therefore a 24 hour dose is 3*3 mL=9 mL.
So much harder to write without some kind of equation tool. I hope that made sense.
