Budgeting advice please

I’m new to adulting, bare with my stupidity please! 😂

Me and my husband both just got paid, spent it and waited for the next. No plans or budgets. I would obviously budget for rent and expenses but mostly just to see how much I could spend that month.

We bring in a total of $3,238 USD a month right now. Expenses eat up about $1500. What should we be doing with the remainder realistically?
