I think it’s normal. My partner and I don’t text much as we see each other constantly but before we texted a lot and just called when we had been apart for longer than normal or had a story that was easier to say over the phone than try to text

My bed and I rarely talk on the phone. We only do it when we are away from each other for more than 3 days and it’s the kind of separated where we can’t see each other in person. We both much prefer face to face or text conversations.

Depends on the couple. My boyfriend & I are long distance, met on Facebook & haven’t been able to meet in person yet... and, we have never talked on the phone in the traditional sense, but we do talk on messenger all throughout the day everyday & video chat when we can (we have each other’s numbers though lol).
