We got a different dry erase type book randomly at the grocery store and my daughter just scribbles all over it, but she enjoys doing that, so worst case scenario your kid has fun with it, just not in the way it's "intended"

My daughter loves to scribble in a white board, so I agree with the other mamas,
Could be used just for drawing if he is not ready or put away and try again in a couple weeks. I know my girl wouldn’t like it yet bc she doesn’t like to be told what to do. (Go figure?!) But she does love brain quest bc she is a chatter box and loves to talk! A word of caution as a teacher, don’t push it as this age, that can cause anxiety and a desire to not want to learn/do the work. In time all babies will get it! Just have fun with it. :)

I’ve considered getting it, but he’s currently in a draw on the walls phase. I would say get it and try it. If your LO isn’t ready, put it away for a few weeks and try again. We have letter, shapes, and numbers flash cards which were rated 4+ and he enjoys going through them with us. I also have the My First Brain Quest for him which he likes too. 🙂 Every child is different, and some are ready for these types of items earlier than it says on the cover.
