We bought a house with 15 acres in February. We have always had a little bit of acreage, but not quite this much. We had 5 before and with some being timber, my husband mowed it on the weekends. Our new house is 8 tillable acres (some is planted in rye) and 7 timber. We have A LOT more yard to mow, and I don’t think my husband will have time on the weekends, plus I don’t want him to work all week and then have to spend all weekend mowing. He enjoys mowing but I know he’s going to have other things he wants to do too. I like mowing too and would love to be able to do it during the week since I am a sahm since baby was born in August. I’m just wondering if anyone else does and how you do it with baby? I could do it during his naps, but our monitor won’t reach all the way to the end of our property.

Could I do the part of the property where the monitor will reach during naps and then just have him ride with me for the rest? Or should I mow the areas outside range for the monitor when he first goes down since I know he’ll stay asleep and then mow what’s in range after so I can see when he wakes up? Anyone else have any experience with this?
