Anyone have a successful vbac at home?

I understand it's very difficult because of all the risk factors, but with all of the virus going on... it's not much safer for a baby to be born in a hospital where it could get it.

The risk of complications during birth is MUCH greater than the risk of complications from this virus. The hospitals will take the necessary precautions.
I need to have another c-section but even if they would let me try for a VBAC, I would never consider trying it at home. Scary

I’m doing a VBAC in the hospital in NYC. Despite how Covid is devastating my city, I think trying to do this at home poses a greater immediate risk to both me and my baby.

I did a VBAC in the hospital with my second. I don’t think it would be advisable at home because the risk or rupture and complications.

I’m going for my first vbac and I’m definitely going to the hospital. There should be no risk. People with the virus are not aloud in and people being admitted are on a closed off wing of the hospital usually. Plus most hospital have labor and delivery completely separated and locked down for the rest of the hospital.

I had a vbac, but in a hospital. I’m going for my second vbac at home now. I don’t care what everyone says, vbac is safer then a repeat  c section and you can have a competent trained midwife to be there with you. I hear you mama, do what’s best for you and your baby. Your body, your baby your birth!
