I was right about my pit being excited, but the chihuahua is a senior and tiny so she got a little scared. The vets estimated she was around 9-11 years old through her teeth. Regardless, they took to each other very well! No fights, nips, territorial behavior, none. She even lets him carry her already, which is amazing and I just got the chihuahua. My pit didn’t have a great start either; I found him in a Wendy’s trash can and I nursed him back to health and happiness. Idk what the history is of the chihuahua, but it’s going to take time. She still doesn’t trust me (which I understand, I’m not forcing her, it’s only been a couple days), and this is a new environment for her. I’m happy she can find comfort in my pitty, so her anxiety doesn’t take over.

This is this us morning. He brought her to the couch and they took a nap. She went to the warmest spot and she snores louder than my pit lol. I’m already in love with this grandma.
