Are people even still offering sessions? My state's stay at home order is for June 10 and directly North the governor just said "until we're no longer in a state of emergency." The photographer we thought about going with cancelled all get sessions and isn't booking new ones, which seems like the responsible thing to do.

As of right now I'll still be doing a newborn shoot. The photographer I booked with told me her routine when it comes to how she does newborn shoots. Unless something changes next month I'm still scheduled.

Its a hard one , I know how you feel. We were going to get studio photos done for our girl due soon but not worth the risk. I’ve been looking up articles on pinterest that talk about doing those newborn shoots diy. Etsy also sells really cute stretch swaddles and headbands, rompers or any other of the cute outfits the photographers use for around $30 or less. Probably won’t come out looking as good as studio ones but it definitely seems doable to get something nice🙂

I’m not completely shutting the idea down...yet. It will really depend on how things are in the next month and half-two months. As long as quarantines are lifted to some extent and proper precautions are taken I would still consider. All those feelings are very subject to change though!
