What to bring hospital bag ?

Hi everyone , I hope your pregnancy is going safe👍! I need answers from experienced mothers please , saying this because you’ve been through it and you know what was necessary and not, 
What are the essentials that I actually need to bring for BABY & ME to the hospital? This post could help a lot of 1st time moms like me , that way I don’t over pack. 
I’m in NY, and will be alone in the hospital because of this virus, and I don’t want to have to much clutter with me. Thank you in advanced.

Chapstick for labor. I saw it on so many posts about what to bring before I had my first. Your lips will get super chapped during labor.

5th baby here, trying to remember what all we really needed. 
Long phone cord or extension cord for your phone
Wireless headphones 
Essential oils if they help you 
My own pillow 
Robe 
Minimal toiletries
Dry shampoo 
Slippers or flip flops for room
Robe & sleep something 
1 change of clothes for me to go home in 
Going home for baby & 1-2 extra outfits(or no extra- I’m usually good with the hospital onesie & swaddle) 
Swaddle we want baby to start with 
I’m trying to remember lol, it’s been over 4 years since our last. We’ve gotten pretty good at keeping it light.
*I love to have a protein bar or 2 for a snack & a Gatorade  
*possibly a camera- I deliver in the Midwest in 4ish weeks & so far I can have my husband with me. Hopefully that won’t change

Keep it minimal because you don’t want to bring anything back into your house for a few days after at a time like this. I’m in NJ and while my husband can be with me (at this point) my doctor said everything that comes into the hospital must immediately be washed when we get home or sit outside for 3+ days. It is why we won’t be bringing our own pillows or a boppy/nursing pillow. Bring some snacks as you won’t be able to leave your room for anything.

I brought so much crap last time I didn’t need. You need an outfit to go home in for you and baby, depends (so much more comfortable than the pads they give you) a phone charger anything you wanna do while waiting. that’s about it lol

Main two things I forgot that I'm definitely taking this time
a extremely good nursing bra 
and snacks... so many snacks cause you will want to eat and gain your energy back afterwards

I'm also taking a tummy wrap and some postpartum pants as after birth your stomach feels really weird and uncomfortable,  support is so much nicer. 
other than that just the normal stuff,  look up a hospital bag list online and they should show the basics

3rd time mom in May, and honestly, you won't need a ton. The hospital gives you all the essentials. Of course, pack toiletries. Take your own towels and wash rags, if you want. The hospital I'm delivering at has sterile packs of wash cloths and towels specifically for delivery. Granny panties, because they will be more comfy than the mesh panties. Your own pillows are nice to have, a robe for after you shower is nice as well. No slip slippers are required in most places, so I take my own of those to avoid wearing the no slip hospital socks lmao. Going home outfit for baby, clothes for you. I'd still wear maternity clothes to go home in🤷‍♀️ I never took makeup or anything of that nature😂
