Lochia/PP Bleeding After C-Section

Don’t worry there are no pics. I just have a question for other mamas who have had c-sections.

I never had terribly heavy bleeding after my c-section. I would say less than a normal period for the first few days. Then occasional spotting. However, today I’m 2 weeks out and it picked up significantly.

Again, not more than a normal period, but I haven’t needed a pad at all for more than a week. I’d have a spot of tissue in the toilet when I went to pee and occasionally a spot in my underwear or a small gush if I stood up. But i’ve had to wear pads and change underwear several times today.

Should I be concerned?

Do you think that means I’m doing too much? (I have a toddler and a newborn)

Anyone else had experience?

Everything I read says progressively lighter in color and amount until it goes away with potential for ebb and flow. Mine did that in the hospital. But since coming home any gush has been red for the most part. Occasionally pink/white. And the blood I’ve been bleeding today is red.

The only thing they told me in the hospital is if my clots were bigger than a golf ball or I filled a pad in an hour to worry. But everyone was kind of concerned about the virus and procedures around that. So they didn’t really tell us everything I feel like.
