Postpartum Period!?

I am currently having my first postpartum period since having my baby I am 8 months Pp And I’m going on week 5 of bleeding! 
Has anyone else experienced this if so what can I do!?

Am I reading this right ? First postpartum period at 8 months pp? 
When I had my daughter I bled for 4 months straight. I was also doing way too much. I didn’t allow my body to heal like I should have. Over doing it can cause long lasting bleeding (my gyno told me). Once I was doing less the bleeding slowed down. Now my periods are back to normal. 
I would call your Doctor, and see what they say. Good luck!
