Anyone else’s LO not sitting up yet?

My little girl is almost 8 months and still isn’t sitting up independently yet. She’s just now starting to sit up for a minute or two with assistance

We’re in between. He can sit while leaning on his arms pretty well. And he can sit unassisted for maybe 30 seconds at a time. Whenever he is sitting though, my husband or I have to be ready to catch him because he always falls to the side or thrashes backwards eventually

Ours can sit up now, took a week of practicing. But he doesn’t know how to transition from tummy to sitting. He can hold his own when propped. This second week he’s really learned to balance well. Just keep at it and yours will get it soon!
