Pelvic pain, pelvic girdle pain, pubic symphysis dysfunction

Meghan • I had my first a little girl on March 24, 2015 and am due with my second on March 7, 2016.
I am a second time sufferer of this symptom ... I am 22 weeks pregnancy And my hips and pelvis are always causing so much pain... I went to physical therapy last pregnancy (last year same time) and have been to see a chiropractor but nothing really helps that I've found... Anyone out there dealing with this pain? Found anything that helps ease it? I could use advice / support ... Im miserable

Have yoy tried a belt specifically for psd? With the 2 groin straps?

All the reviews I've read have said that those straps make the ultimate difference

I bought one from Amazon and it's really helped worth a try I went from not walking at all to being able to walk the dogs everyday.

Unfortunately I didn't get much relief from wearing it in my first pregnancy... Might be worth a shot to try again this time

I did not have this with my first at all (3 years ago) but am full blown miserable at 34 weeks now. So I am interested to hear the advice as well because I had PT today and I can barely move now.

Started seeing physio at 12 weeks! She kept me going for a while. Now seen an osteopath 3 times and I'm also pain free at 33 weeks! So I'd suggest you find a female osteopath, with experience in pregnancy problems. I say female as I needed some gentle pressure on my pubis with pressure on the sacrum at the same time. The male osteopath I saw a few years ago was reluctant to do this, so his treatment was less effective. This is my 3rd pregnancy. I'm so happy to have got rid of the pain!

I am currently 30 weeks and have had this since 20 weeks - I've had very little support from my midwife and so have referred myself to a physio and am waiting for an appointment now. I have a nexcare support belt which is amazing and means I can at least walk with it on, but I can't wear it to sit or bend over as it digs in so its no use when just pottering at home. Any advice anyone can give would be very very welcome
